Who Run RVA?: Woody Winborn
Woody Winborn may still be developing as a Quarterback, but he is undoubtedly one of the top athletes in the area. Winborn is long, smooth, graceful and makes dynamic plays look easy. He has the versatility to play all over the field, thus an offensive coordinators main task is simply to find ways to make sure the ball is in his hands.
Winborn is a playmaker who is always seemingly one missed tackle from taking it to the house. He will continue to improve as a passer, but in the meantime, he is a major running threat which will open things up for the entire offense.
It is difficult to fairly rate Winborn as a QB as he is truly an ATH. College coaches will be enthralled by his ability and skill set at the next level.
His Hermitage team had a successful 2015, but were knocked out of the playoffs by future state champs, Highland Springs. That Hermitage squad was senior-laden. In order for this years’ to have repeat success and potentially go further, Winborn will need to be special—something that he is capable of being.

Undersized. Tape does not yet display full range of ability throwing the ball. Challenging to properly review as QB.
