Who Run RVA?: Bryce Witt
Bryce Witt has experience. He is poised and he is prepared to lead his team on a deep playoff run.
The pro-style Quarterback has good size and consistently displays an ability to throw the long ball with touch. He effectively operates his team’s spread offense, quickly getting the ball out of his hands and often hitting his man in stride. He has shown an ability to throw on the run and in doing so sets his feet and delivers while maintaining sound body control.
As Witt develops, he will learn to use his frame and core to increase the velocity on his passes which will allow him to throw the entire route tree. If given the opportunity to play in a pro-style set, he will likely hone his skills at going through his reads/progressions.
Last season he led Dinwiddie to a 1st round playoff victory over Monacan. This year, he will look to go further.
